Reformer Classes.
Reformer Pilates is like no other form of exercise. Through a system of springs, ropes, a gliding carriage and a moving crossbar we are able to create endless challenging movements to tone, strengthen and sculpt the body like never before! The Pilates principles of targeting both large and small muscle groups means the exercises are exceptionally effective at creating lean muscles, changing body shape and aiding in weight loss.
Simply Reformer Stretch.
A stretched muscle is a strong muscle. Stretching is just as important as strengthening. By using the Reformer, this slower paced class calms the mind and focuses on lengthening muscles just that little bit further to get that ‘feel-good’ factor. This class is ideal for those who spend a lot of time at a desk or driving to help open the posture. After this class you will leave walking a little taller - literally!
JumpBoard Cardio.
This class uses the Reformer JumpBoard to get your heart pumping, legs wobbling and arms aching for a full body work out. This cardio class uses the JumpBoards to challenge the core, raise the heart rate and burn fat with minimal impact on your joints. Be warned though- this class is not for the feint hearted, be prepared to get sweaty and feel the burn!
What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates uses a machine to incorporate the Pilates technique to create a challenging and intense full body workout. It helps build a stronger core, improves posture, improves mood, overall body shape, muscle tone, and increases flexibility . By using leverage and spring tension the Reformer takes stress off joints and bones, and can be designed to target one specific muscle group or a whole body exercise, creating a great form of strength and endurance training.
